Loy & Co advised the shareholders of Negotiation Advisory Group on the sale of a majority stake to LIBERTA Partners

The transaction

LIBERTA Partners has acquired a majority stake in Negotiations Advisory Group (NAG). The remaining shares are held by the management team and the employees of NAG. The management team around the four shareholders Katharina Weber, Yurda Burghardt, René Schumann and Stefan Oswald, together with Liberta, plans to further accelerate NAG’s impressive growth by expanding existing business areas and opening up new consulting fields and regions.

Negotiation Advisory Group

NAG was founded in 2018 by René Schumann and Stefan Oswald. Katharina Weber and Yurda Burghardt, who came on board after a short time, complete the management team. As an innovation leader, NAG takes negotiation management to the next level. The consulting approach is based on the latest scientific findings from game theory, behavioral economics, psychology and data science, which are translated into practical application. This enables companies to gain an advantage, especially in complex and groundbreaking negotiation situations. NAG has quickly grown into one of the leading negotiation consultancies in Europe with currently around 50 experts. Since its foundation, NAG has negotiated more than 2,900 negotiation projects with an annual volume of most recently EUR 25 billion. Numerous well-known medium-sized companies as well as international corporations from the automotive and chemical industries, mechanical engineering and trade, among others, trust NAG to solve complex negotiation situations in purchasing and sales.
